Ruakaka is again the venue for the Auckland Championships this coming weekend, 14/15 February.
The Ruakaka surf club is hosting the two-day event for the fourth consecutive year at the popular Northland location.
Saturday’s programme gets under way at 9.00 am with IRB events. The programme for the afternoon starts at 12 noon and will include run-swim-run events, ski relays, tube rescues and board rescues, followed by the heats for sprints, relays and beach flags.
The boat arena will see short course racing for surf boats and surf canoes, from heats through to finals.
Sunday’s programme starts at 8.00 am with a March Past for all competing clubs, followed by sprint and relay finals. Other remaining events will then follow. To view the programme for each day, click here.
