Training pays dividends for Red Beach athletes

The start of the men's surf race at Omaha for all age groups.

Red Beach’s surf athletes showed how they are tracking when they delivered some solid performances at Omaha on Saturday 12 November.
It was a mixed bag of weather for the Harcourts SLSNR Interclub carnival # 1 with competitors, officials and spectators having to dodge the rain showers and brave the cool conditions.
Board, ski and beach sprint events were run in a 3-race series format to test the fitness and stamina of the athletes.
