NZ record time set at SLSNR Pool Champs

IMG 2166Red Beach's Patrick Makgill, right, broke a New Zealand record when he set a new time of 18.43 secs in the U16 men’s 50m Swim with Fins event.
It was one of 10 NZ records to fall on Day One of the SLSNR Pool Champs at the National Aquatic Centre on Auckland’s North Shore.
Junior swimmer Jasper Cornish was the most successful Red Beach swimmer on Day One at the pool, notching up three individual wins in U12 men’s events. The wins came in the 50m Swim with Fins, the 50m Rescue Medley and the 50m Brick Carry.
