Awards presented at Red Beach AGM

Eleven Red Beach Surf Club members
received recognition for their services to surf lifesaving and to the club when awards were handed out at the Annual General Meeting on 29 July.  The recipients were members of either the SeniorSurf or JuniorSurf divisions.
The highest award, a Life Membership, was bestowed on Vaughan Skiffington, a stalwart of Red Beach for the past 26 years. He is the 19th person to be made a Life Member. The last person to receive Life Membership of the club was Edwin Richards in 2013.

Distinguished Service Awards went to Craig Dillon, Mark Readman and Mike Taylor.
Service Awards were handed out to Wade Downey, Craig Gledhill, Kathy Kramer and Robyn Presland.
Recognition Awards were presented to Peter Fortes, Rod Moratti and Digby Morton.

Citations were read out at the meeting in support of those who received club honours.
