Following the success
of the 2017 World Masters Games at Auckland’s Takapuna Beach, the ILS has confirmed that Lifesaving Sport has been included in the 2021 World Masters Games to be held in Kansai, Japan from 14-30 May, 2021.

The surf lifesaving events will be held over three days at Wakasa Wada beach, in the town of Takahama, from 22nd to 23rd May (confirmed amended dates).  Masters athletes from all ILS Member Federations are being encouraged to participate in what is recognised as a global multi-sport event.
