Ten lifeguards qualify as IRB drivers

Red Beach has ten newly-qualified IRB drivers. All were successful in passing the IRB exam at Muriwai Beach on Sunday 8 November. And, despite a challenging surf which tested the candidates, all came through with flying colours.
IRB Driver Awards: Caleb Archer, Xavier Bradshaw, Ella Butler, Kate Fortes, Matt Hughes, Mary Kramer, Connor McDermott, Coby Moratti, Kate Rogers, Tim Russell.
In congratulating the 10 successful lifeguards, the Red Beach club would also like to commend IRB instructors Jonah Cleminson and Harry Mellor for their input with training and the time spent getting the lifeguards up to the necessary exam standard.
