IRB crews haul in medals at NRCs

Red Beach’s two IRB crews, the Raptors and the Ragdolls, powered their way to podium finishes at the recent Northern Region IRB Championships.
The event was held at Ruakaka Beach on Saturday 20 March in testing conditions with a 1.5m – 2.0m surf running. Both crews competed in the U23 division. With an overall points tally of 19, the club placed fifth on the points table.
The Red Beach athletes taking part were Jonah Cleminson, Harry Mellor, Brie Downey, Emma Hildesley, Coby Moratti & Peyton Bingley. The team manager was Jacob Groom.
