Saturday 17 November will be a milestone date for the Red Beach Surf Life Saving Club when Auckland Mayor Phil Goff re-opens the club's redeveloped beachfront headquarters.
The event will mark ten years of alterations and refurbishment which began in 2008 with the construction of the deck at the front of the clubrooms.
A large crowd of members and supporters is expected at the late-afternoon ceremony.
