Three days of intense action
at the TSB NZ Surf Life Saving Championships at Mount Maunganui saw a wide spread of Red Beach athletes snatch podium finishes.
The 3 Gold, 6 Silver and 10 Bronze medals collected by the club were a reflection of the athletes’ commitments to solid training over many months.

The Nationals, spread over four days, kicked off with the NZ Masters Championships which were conducted in outstandingly good weather. The three days that followed saw a mix of weather conditions which brought both sunshine and rain. However, the wet conditions failed to dampen the spirits of club athletes. Red Beach finished in ninth position on overall points.
